Two splits in L-7. More pressure on increasing harvest vis non-selective grazing. Very impressed with the level of native plant ‘reverse invasion of natives into crested wheat (see below). Always a concern with multiple calves sucking one cow this time of year. I trail yearlings and open 2’s out of lackey into EG-2 (recovery time?).

Hard to see with the photo yet almost 50% of the plants in the frame are natives in this old, crested wheat-alfalfa hay field. What is the practice nurturing this result.

Many of the ponds in BW-7 and 8 filled with water though the creek did not start running. To get the creek moving would likely take 3 or 4 inches of rain.
