Corrals (NNG): Cows (303 (6 bulls)) and 11 light calves + 4 culls in corrals. LS (SNG8) 320 acres with 2 permanent paddocks: Cows (303 (6 bulls)) Todd: 2’s and Opens (112) Notes: We are grazing now, moving daily, yet still providing about half feed with barley straw along with Beef Pro 100 Protein supplement at about 1/3#/day. Cows at Todd’s still doing holding a strong condition score 5 on aftermath and Beef Pro 100 supplement. Weather: Uncomfortable strong SW all day. Corrals (NNG): Cows (303 (6 bulls)) and 11 light calves + 4 culls in corrals. LS (SNG8) 320 acres with 2 permanent paddocks: Cows (303 (6 bulls)) Todd: 2’s and Opens (112) Notes: ½ feed (4 bales) for cows and moved into first split in BLM in Little Switzerland unit (formerly SNG). Grazing quickly for second time over-trying to get a clip on remaining wolfish crested wheat patches.

Corrals (NNG): Cows (294+15B) + 9 light calves Todd: 2’s and Opens (112) Notes: No feed at all. Help with MWC meeting most of day. Weather: Fresh snow and blue skies today.
Corrals (NNG): Cows (294+15B) + 9 light calves Todd: 2’s and Opens (112) Notes: Backing off on straw to encourage cows to clean up better. Weather: Chilled down again and snowed a couple of inches at night.
Corrals (NNG): Cows (294+15B) + 9 light calves Todd: 2’s and Opens (112) Notes: Harley (supplement dealer) came out to look at the cows, and felt they were in a strong 5 condition score. He thought I needed to make them clean up the straw a little better. Ryan got cows at Todd’s worked. Great help from neighbors including the portable chute from jay Pelan. Weather: Almost too nice.
