Opened rest of BW-2 (60 acres) also opened back end of BW-1. Plan not to move the next two days. By offering more acres farthest from water we hope to draw cows back to grass rather than loafing around tank. Hard task to pull off in the heat. Late afternoon I did gently push animals off lower end of paddock and headed them toward the ungrazed portion of the paddock.

​Responding to drought, heat, and hoppers, Tyler and I do a first draft inventory of current stockpiled forage and estimated forage demand through now to April 30th, 2025.
